Curriculum & Instruction

Bais Yaakov High School School works hard to surpass the academic guidelines established by the Minnesota Department of Education by providing a challenging and engaging curriculum for our students.

Bais Yaakov High School School Curriculum

Bais Yaakov High School School follows Minnesota State and St. Louis Park Public. District guidelines. The school district has adopted content standards and assessments. These assessments allow teachers, students and parents to see where individuals are in reaching and/or exceeding District Standards. The measures will determine whether the student has successfully learned grade level standards. The results of these measures will enable teachers to teach to your child's individual needs and strengths. Copies of the State content Standards can be accessed at the links provided below.

To find the K-12 Minnesota Academic Standards for language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and the arts, choose a subject from the links below. Health and physical education, vocational and technical education, and world languages each require districts to develop local standards.  (Note: Reading standards are included in the Language Arts standards document.)

Curriculum and Standards

The state of Minnesota has instituted standardized tests to ensure compliance with these guidelines and assess whether schools are meeting these goals. To learn more and view Bais Yaakov High School School's recent test scores, visit the accountability page.
